The East Face project was envisioned as a modern commercial space that would blend functionality with aesthetics while creating a welcoming environment for clients and employees alike. The client’s brief emphasized natural light, open layouts, and a premium look that resonates with professionalism. They desired a space that feels elegant yet approachable, with statement areas like the reception, collaborative zones, and client-facing meeting rooms setting the tone for the brand.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
At Shades and Shapes, our approach was to craft a space that radiates openness and modernity. Large glass partitions were introduced to maximize daylight while maintaining acoustic comfort. The reception area was designed as the brand’s statement piece, with sleek finishes, elegant furniture, and carefully curated lighting. Work areas were kept minimalistic yet highly functional, ensuring employees had an uncluttered, motivating environment. Meeting and collaborative zones used warm materials combined with subtle accents, creating a balance of professionalism and comfort. Natural stone, veneer, and muted tones added timeless character to the interiors.
COMPLITION
The East Face project was completed successfully within the defined timeline, despite the challenges of natural light management and spatial reorientation. The final outcome not only met but exceeded client expectations offering a workplace that is sophisticated, user-friendly, and future-ready.
